Our Story – The Legacy of Vinayaka Corporation
Vinayaka Corporation was founded in the early 1970s by Mohan Karanji Mehta, a self-made man with nothing but determination, energy, and a vision to do something different for his family and community.
Arriving in South India with very little, he started from the ground up. In the beginning, he worked tirelessly, taking on hard labor jobs to build his name and reputation. With grit and persistence, he began buying goods and selling them from a bicycle. Soon after, he rented a small shop, and with that leap of faith, “Vinayaka Corporation” was born.
Mr. Mehta’s intentions were always clear and honest. He believed in helping people — whether it was a customer looking for the best quality at a fair price or a fellow small business owner trying to start from scratch, just like he once did.
Even after his recent passing on 14th June 2025, his legacy lives on. Many of our customers shared heartfelt stories about him — one said, “I started my business in 1982 and sought his guidance. He not only advised me with wisdom but also encouraged me in ways that helped me grow.” Over the decades, countless customers and business partners have echoed the same sentiment: respect, integrity, and goodwill defined him.
At Vinayaka Corporation, we continue his vision — to provide premium quality dry fruits and spices at reasonable prices, while carrying forward the same honesty, trust, and care that Mohan Karanji Mehta built this brand upon.
